The main ethgos of the amp ios a pure signal path with an absolute clear sound.
The preamp is based on a 12 band graphic EQ that's combined with a 575 watts ABM power amp. Features include a switchable pre and post EQ balanced DI out, a mute switch, line output, effects send and return. Fresh R&D by Ashdown has come up with the entirely new Harmonic Emphasis Circuit that has the handy effect of making it sound like you've fitted a new set of strings. Mucho usefull.

When switched in, the revolutionary Harmonic Emphasis circuit has the effect of sounding like you’ve just replaced your strings.
