Blueridge Historic series BR-180 AS dreadnought design acoustic guitar. The guitar features a solid sitka spruce top with choice solid East Indian rosewood back and sides with center strip of delicate wood marquetry, carved Mahogany, low profile neck complete with ebony fingerboard and bridge and a bone nut and saddle. This creates a well defined full tone with bags of projection from the solid rosewood body ideal for fingerpicking. The guitar has vintage-style 14:1 ratio nickel-plated open-back tuners with butterbean-style buttons. It has some gorgeous cosmetic touches including full Martin D-45 style ornamentation.

SpecificationThe instrument is reminiscent of pre-war highly decorated guitars. The bindings are all MOP (Mother of Pearl), the headstock inlay, also MOP, is intricate and magical, the fingerboard inlays are striking as are the abalone soundboard and sound hole inlays. There is a rather delicate wood marquetry back center strip, a "Dalmation"(light colored) tortoise pick guard, and vintage-style 14:1 gold plated tuners with Butterbean-style tuner buttons.
