Fender American Standard Series 5 String Jazz Bass Guitar with Maple Neck. These basses still feel something special. The balance is perfect and the neck profile is that superb smaller width 1.5"" at the nut. The neck is maple with Rosewood Fingerboard, medium jumbo frets and rolled fingerboard edges attached to the body with a four bolt neck plate. The bass is equipped with two single coil American Standard Jazz bass pickups. The strings are anchored on a High Mass Vintage bridge that gives the option of strings thru body or thru the rear of the bridge. When thru the body the guitar body resonates far more effectively helping to create that unique Fender solid sound. The tuners are Fender®/Hipshot® Vintage Keys with Tapered Shafts. Having those two pickups definitely gives the Jazz an edge.
The guitar is available in a multitude of finish options. Sunburst is more expensive than a solid colour. Thge guitar comes in a recently upgraded high quality Molded rectangular SKB® case. This alone is worth £100. Includes other extras like a cable, strap and a polishing cloth.
