Fender Classic Series '72 Telecaster Deluxe Maple C Shaped maple fingerboard Neck with 70's headstock. The guitar as the name suggests was first introduced in 1972 sporting 2 x humbuckers instead of the original stock single coils and controlled by a 3 way toggle switch. The strings still pass through the body but with a Strat not standard Tele plate bridge. The body is alder. The pickups have a remarkable wide ranging tone. Comes complete with a padded gig bag.
Specification1972 was a magical year for the Telecaster® guitar, which was then available in several new designs and with more options than ever before.
The ’72 Telecaster Deluxe features many of those options, including an alder body, a C-shaped maple neck, bullet truss rod, ’70s vintage hardtail strings-through Strat® bridge, three-bolt neckplate, ’70s Strat headstock, two Wide Range humbucking pickups, traditional three-way switching and four skirted amp knobs.
