Product Description

Marshall 1962 Bluesbreaker Guitar Tube Amplifier Combo. This is the most influential iconic amp for the blues player bar none. Used by Eric Clapton on the (Beano) Bluesbreaker album it turned more people onto playing the blues than a death in the family. Like all things great it's simple to use. The two 5881 tubes deliver 30 Watts into the eight Ohm load and there’s an impedance selector for four or 16 Ohm for different speaker configurations. This selector is about all there is on the rear panel, apart from the speaker outputs and Tremolo footpedal input. This is a stripped to the bone, no frills guitar amplifier that’s only about one thing – tone. Based on the Fender Bassman circuit and without the luxury of a pre-amp gain or master volume, the 1962 Bluesbreaker sounds better the louder it’s cranked – preferably all the way if you can stand it.
It's features are 30 watts output, 3 band eq, tremolo, 2 x 12" G12M Greenback speakers, 3 x ECC83 input valves, 2 x 5881 Power valves, GZ34 valve rectifier and a footswitch. Makes you salivate just thinking about it.
