Music Man Sterling SB-14 4 String Bass Guitar. The Sterling Series of basses are made to Music Man's very high specification and standards. THe SB-14 has a modern contemporary design approach blended with Music Man's classic feel and sound. The body is basswood that has a contoured profile to enhance playing comfort with a 34"" neck that features a narrow 38mm width at the neck the same as a Fender Jazz Bass and a neck heel thats contoured to allow easy access to the whole fingerboard. The bass is equipped with a Music Man designed innovative humbucker pickup with ceramic pole pieces offering a choice of hum free signal from both humbucker and single coil. The controls are a classic Music Man set up of 3 band active eq offering full cut and boost of bass, middle and treble.
All Sterling by Music Man instruments are inspected and set up in Orange County, California.
The bass includes a Sterling Deluxe Gig Carry bag.
The range of tones available makes this bass ideal for almost any style of playing from clean to funk to heavy rock.
