STERLING-4 NATURAL RN 3EQ.The Music Man bass has become an
Icon alongside the Fender Jazz, Precision and Rickenbacker 4001 and is now the bass guitar of choice of the world's finest players. Originally designed in part by Leo Fender in 1971, the bass bears all the hallmarks of this innovative giant of the guitar world.
This model is the 3 EQ version. The guitar is loaded with a single Humbucker alnico magnet pickup controlled by an active 3 band EQ set of controls offering full cut and boost of the bass, middle and treble. The body is made from Ash that is both light and resonant with a bolt on maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. The neck is a narrow width similar to the Fender Jazz at 41.3 mm. The chromium plated hardware is of very heavy construction with a strings thru body hardened steel bridge with stainless steel saddles.
The combination of the electronics and strings thru an ash body creates a full warm sustained resonant sound capable of creating any sound for any genre from country to funk to hard rock. This truly is a bassplayers bass and in the opinion of many as good as it gets. Once you have played a Music Man and felt the whole guitar vibrate through your body you will be smitten.
This guitar comes equipped with a hard shell case. Made in Orange County Nr Los Angeles California, USA. This one is finished in Natural with a rosewood neck and chrome hardware.
