The 6505 series was launched to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Peavey and to relaunch the highly succesfull 5150 designs designed in collaboration with Edward Van Halen (his mum doesn't like him being called Eddie). They are well know for their power and rock tone and are the first choice of many major rock guitarists including Ted Nugent, In Flames, Visqueen, HIMSA, Darkest Hour, Sworn Enemy, Unearth, Bleeding Through, Story of the Year, P.O.D., Bullet For My Valentine, Chimaira and Evergreen Terrace and many more.
The 6505 head features 4x 12AX7 preamp valves and 4x 6L6GC output valves. These products carry a 5 year guarantee ( excluding valves) that's pretty well unique to Guitarland. A no compromise rock head.
