"Peavey Bandit 112 guitar amp combo. The Peavey Bandit must now be the most succesfull amp ever produced by any maker. We've lost count of the number we've sold since the first version came out in 1980. They just do the job on stage, at home or in the studio. Many guitarists actually prefer the tone produced than that of a valve amp when in a small environment. It's features include 80 watts rms(8ohms) or 100 watts (4ohms) with an extension cab connected and channel switching with a footswitch from clean to overdrive/distortion. The overdrive is very British and the distortion is a great quality heavy rock sound. The clean tone is ideal for country being thick and sparkly. It does all of this well. One biggy for most guitar players is it's dead easy to use. You know your way around it in five minutes.
Also includes 3 band passive EQ on each channel, 3 position EQ/Gain Voicing switch on each channel, Reverb with level control, Footswitchable Boost with level control and ¼"" stereo Speaker Simulated Direct Out jack with level control. The speaker is a 12""Blue Marvel.
The Peavey Transtube series of amps are designed to emulate valve technology. As the amp gets louder the power amp compresses in exactly the same way as a valve amp. Hence the term transtube. Easily one of the best designed amps every made and very affordable.
