Vintage AV1P Special Electric Guitar. Vintage guitars are designed and their manofacture closely scrutinised by the highly respected luthier Trevor Wilkinson. There is therefore extremely close monitoring of every instrument and the quality is exceptionally high.
The AV1P Special has a mahagony neck set into a mahogany body complete with a carved maple top constructed to a similar design shape as the original classic single cutaway design. The guitar is equipped with 2 Trev Wilkinson P90 stacked humbuckers.
However they also have a highly innovative roll control which transforms each pickup from full humbucker to single coil operation - and any degree of tonality in between. This gives the most comprehensive range of sounds for any guitar in it's class. The guitar is fitted with nickel hardware.
SpecificationThese Vintage Advance AV1’s offer a slightly different look and feel. With its deep edge-chamfered solid mahogany body (AV1 Standard) and contoured maple top (AV1 Special) plus mahogany set-neck construction, these guitars definitely mean business. Helping to achieve this is the choice of AV1 Standard equipped with a pair of PAF-voiced Wilkinson WVC humbucking pickups, or the AV1 Special with its complement of Wilkinson P90 stacked humbuckers.
The ergonomically designed control layout features a master volume, master tone, and innovative Vintage ‘Roll Control’, which transforms each pickup from full humbucker to single coil operation – and any degree of tonality in between.
