Vintage AV3P Electric Guitar. Vintage guitars are designed and their manofacture closely scrutinised by the highly respected luthier Trevor Wilkinson. There is therefore extremely close monitoring of every instrument and the quality is exceptionally high.
The AV3P construction is based on the classic double cutaway semi acoustic instrument design however with the following great features. The body is actually carved from a solid piece of premium grade mahogany then capped with maple and then a veneer of flame maple. This together with the mahogany set neck creates a superbly resonant instrument. Add to this the Trev Wilkinson Stacked P90 humbucker pickups with roll control(makes a humbucker into a single coil) and you have a highly versatile guitar capable of all sounds from country to rock. The guitar is a prime candidate as a leader in it's class. It looks like a vintage guitar but has all that extra going for it.
SpecificationWith a body style familiar to the eye, the Vintage AV3 is carved from a solid block of premium mahogany, resulting in a reduced weight acoustically chambered body with solid centre block.

Wilkinson pickups are controlled by master volume, master tone, and unique Vintage 'Roll Control' for humbucking (stacked P90 or WVC side-by-side humbucker) mode to single coil operation – a truly versatile system.
And - on the new 3 x P90 stacked humbucking-equipped AV3, designer Trev Wilkinson has included a ‘Push-Push’ mid pickup selection option on the tone pot. In conjunction with the
standard 3-way toggle switch, this allows the middle pickup to be selected at any time, thereby adding ‘out of phase’ pickup options to the sound of the guitar.
