Vintage AV6HRG Robbie Gladwell signature Electric Guitar. Vintage guitars are designed and their manufacture closely scrutinised by the highly respected luthier Trevor Wilkinson. There is therefore extremely close monitoring of every instrument and the quality is exceptionally high. Robbie otherwise known as the guitar doctor knows whats what when it comes to guitar construction and is highly influential in the UK pro guitar player community.
The AV6RG construction is based on the classic double cutaway solid body instrument design however with the following great features. The American alder body is combined with the maple/bubinga bolt on neck. The bubinga at the neck join enhances the sustain. Add to this the 3 Trev Wilkinson W90 Stacked humbucker pickups with roll control(makes a humbucker into a single coil) and you have a highly versatile guitar capable of all sounds from country to rock. The guitar is a prime candidate as a leader in it's class. It looks like a vintage guitar but has all that extra going for it and oozes quality.

A talented player and vocalist, as well as a highly experienced luthier, repairer and amp techician, who has worked with all the main guitar companies as a technician advisor in their UK operation Robbie also tours and records as lead guitarist with Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel (who recently supported the Rolling Stones on some of their European gigs!). Robbie has also played with the rockin' Miss Suzi Q herself, Suzi Quatro. Robbie has also shared stages with Albert Lee (Everly Brothers), James Burton (Elvis Presley), Dave Gilmour (Pink Floyd) and Tom Jones, to name but a few.
