Electric guitar amplifiers, also known as electric guitar amps, are electronic amplifiers designed to make the signal of an electric guitar louder. The electric guitar amps will produce sound through a loudspeaker and modify the tone by emphasising or de-emphasising certain frequencies and adding electronic effects.

• Vox Electric Guitar Amplifiers - Vox is a musical equipment manufacturer which is most famous for making the Vox AC30 electric guitar amplifiers. Founded in Kent, England, Vox has been owned by the Japanese electronics firm Korg since 1992. Recently Vox has emerged as a leader in the digital amp modeling market with the release of its Valvetronix line of digital amplifier modelers. Utilizing Korg's REMS modeling software, the Valvetronix are driven via a low-power tube power amp stage. The latest line, the AD15VT / AD30VT / AD50VT / AD100VT, has received many awards and much praise for its recreation of eleven classic electric guitar amplifiers at a price considered affordable.
